Politicians Are Liars- Yvonne Nelson

Ghanaian actress; Yvonne Nelson seems to have had it as she lashed out against the government in a series of tweets.

With election date getting closer by the day, more celebrities feel the need to use their platform to make a few points clear, and Yvonne Nelson will not be left behind.

She berated the radio stations for asking for money to promote people’s hard work and their victories, but are happy to promote negativity for next to nothing.

The actor and producer also ranted about having so much faith in the leadership of Ghana, who she says have failed her.

The entrepreneur and model says it is in vain to think a politician cares about the people they serve. Calling on her generation to do better, she says if given an opportunity she would rather be known as Yvonne Nelson the people’s servant because of the huge responsibility that comes with being a politician, and to her, the title “politician” is a dirty one.

She went ahead to talk about the stressful process it takes to get a passport, and one will have to bribe their way through just to own a passport. She complains about the politicians not believing in the system as most of their children do not stay in the country.

Yvonne Nelson calls the government liars, and every four years, all they do is play mind games, and that she would rather focus on her life that to stress over them.

Talking about the poor medical condition, she reaffirms that Ghanaians are really suffering.

 The Ghanaian presidential election will hold in December, 2020.
